We have implemented advanced pollution control technologies to minimize air, water, and soil pollution. This includes the use of Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) in our boilers to capture particulate matter and reduce emissions. We also have effluent treatment plants to treat and responsibly manage wastewater generated during the sugar production process.
Waste Management
Our Environmental Department ensures proper waste management practices are in place. We have established systems for the segregation, treatment, and disposal of waste generated at our facility. This includes the responsible handling of organic waste, such as bagasse and press mud, which are utilized for co-generation and compost production.
Energy Efficiency
We strive to optimize energy usage and reduce our carbon footprint. Our cogeneration plant efficiently utilizes waste heat generated during the sugar production process to produce electricity. By exporting surplus power to the state grid, we contribute to the renewable energy supply and reduce reliance on traditional fossil fuel-based power generation.
